Double Glory for City of Derry RFC - 16/4/2009

It was an Easter holiday to remember for City of Derry Rugby Football Club with both their First XV and Second XV winning their Cup Final's in Ravenhill, Belfast.

The First XV squad defeated Ballynahinch in dramatic fashion 14 - 10 to win the Powerade Towns Cup, an achievement last done by the club 73 years ago.

The following day the Second XV emulated the success of the firsts to win the Crawford Cup 28 - 6 against Bangor.

Customer Service Briefing - 10/4/2009

Over the past two days our dedicated customer service team that is spread throughout the UK and Ireland, met for it's first quarterly team briefing.

The meeting represents our continued commitment to the customer as we embrace 2009 as the 'Year of the Customer'.

Together the team was able to review and co-ordinate their goals for the rest of the year, helping to ensure we continue our mission to deliver an exceptional service to our customers.

Christine Healy, our recently appointed Customer Services Manager commented:

"This was a great opportunity to get to know the new team and to deliver first hand direction and goals we as a team are working to.  We now have on board a motivated team of customer service advisors that are up for the challenge of putting the customer first in everything we do."

 

Alpha Environmental Officially Opens Dublin Office - 1/4/2009

Alpha Environmental, a specialist in contaminated land remediation and oil spill response, officially opened their Dublin offices on Friday 27th March, 2009.

The ceremony was attended by Brian Lenihan TD, Minister for Finance, as well as a number of key staff from the insurance, loss adjuster, commercial and public sector's throughout Ireland.

Speaking at the event Mr Lenihan TD advised that companies like Alpha Environmental who operate within the dynamic environmental sector and who maintain research and investment in new technologies, are the key to the recovery of Ireland's economy.

Alpha Environmental Announces New Office in County Cork - 1/4/2009

Alpha Environmental is pleased to announce plans to open a new office in the South of Ireland.

At the official opening of the Dublin office, Dr Alan McClure OBE, Chairman and CEO of the company, unveiled plans to open an office in Mallow, County Cork by early summer 2009.

In addition to this, the company is looking to further strengthen it's Irish operations with the prospect of another office in the Galway region towards the end of 2009.

These announcements come as a result of the company's continuing growth throughout both Ireland and the UK, which has seen the company's staff increase from 60 at the end of 2007 to over 110 at the beginning of 2009.
